Officers under the Central Government: (a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis; or (ii) with three years' regular service in posts in the Pay Band-2: Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/- or equivalent; and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
(i) Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Communications Engineering or M.Sc. in Physics or Chemistry
(ii) 3 years (5 years in the case of diploma holders for B.Sc.) practical/field experience in detection and disposal of explosive devices.

(ii) Copies of APAR/ACRs for the last 5 years attested on each page by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary;
(iii) Vigilance Clearance Certificate;
(iv) Integrity certificate;
(v) A statement of Major/minor penalty, if any, imposed on the officer during the last 10 years.
