Post Name: Scientist ‘B’ (Documents)
Master’s Degree in Chemistry / AIC by examination / Physics / Forensic Science with Chemistry or Physics as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.
Experience – Three years experience of analytical methods and research therein in the field of Documents in any Central Government or State Government organization or recognized research institute or Forensic Science Laboratory under the Central or State Government.
Duties – Crime Scene Management, Crime Case Examination, bestow expert testimony/de’facto in the courts of law on subject matter under the provision of Cr.P.C. and Indian Evidence Act/Information Technology Act, R&D activities on Forensic Activities and imparting training in their respective field of forensic specialization to the trainees from different investigating agencies / forensic science labs and other organizations.
