Basic Information:

Post Wise Qualification:

(i). Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.

Experience: Two Years’ experience in Civil Engineering work.

NOTE: The Qualification regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reason to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes if, at any stage of selection. The Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient numbers of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them.

Duties: To examine the preliminary cost estimates for roads/bridges submitted by the State Government of NER for consideration by appropriate authorities and also to help Adviser (T&C) in monitoring the works funded by NEC and other service like electricity, HVAC system for office building including water supply, sewer system as well as operation and maintenance of DG sets etc. and to look after the day to day maintenance works of office and residential building.
