Post Wise Qualification:
(i). A degree in Ayurveda from a Recognized University or Statutory State Board or Council or Faculty of India Medicine recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970)
(ii). Enrolment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or State Register of Indian Medicine.
NOTE-I: The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications.
NOTE-II: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
NOTE-III: The Qualification regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reason to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes if, at any stage of selection. The Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient numbers of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them.
Duties: To work as a Doctor in CGHS Dispensaries and as Research Officer in Ministry of AYUSH.
